Getting started
What is ClashPoker?
Online poker in your browser, run on Briggsoft’s Poker Mavens software. Most games are played for $CLASH, the room’s main token, and any other Solana token can have games of its own. How ClashPoker works has the whole story.
Do I need to download anything?
No. The poker tables open in a browser tab, on a computer or a phone.
Do I need a crypto wallet to play?
No. You sign up with a poker name, a password and an email address. You only need a wallet address when you cash out.
How do I sign up?
Press Sign up on the home page. Pick a poker name of 3 to 12 letters, numbers or underscores (it is your name at the tables and cannot be changed later), a password and your email address, then confirm the email we send you.
Does it cost anything to play?
No. The free $CLASH below and the daily freerolls are enough to start, without paying anything in.
Free $CLASH and freerolls
How do I get free $CLASH?
10 $CLASH when you confirm your email. The faucets in your account give 1 $CLASH every 24 hours and 0.1 $CLASH every hour: on each, tick I am a real person, then press Claim. Freeroll prizes are real $CLASH too.
My 10 $CLASH has not arrived. Why?
The bonus is paid once per account and once per email inbox. Some sign-ups are checked by hand first: another account signed up from the same network in the last 30 days, a throwaway email address, or a day with a lot of sign-ups. A checked sign-up is paid once it is approved.
When are the freerolls?
Every day. Monday to Friday, 8pm Central: 100 $CLASH plus rebuys; Saturday, 8pm Central: 500 $CLASH plus rebuys; Sunday deep stack, 2pm Central: 1,000 $CLASH plus rebuys. Each one’s page on Games counts down to the start.
How do I enter a freeroll?
Sign in, open the freeroll’s page from Games and press Register. Registration opens two hours before the start.
How do the freeroll rebuys work?
Every $CLASH freeroll has them. During the first hour you can rebuy as often as you like: 1 $CLASH plus a 1 $CLASH fee on weeknights, 5 $CLASH plus a 1 $CLASH fee on Saturday and 10 $CLASH plus a 1 $CLASH fee on Sunday. Every rebuy goes into the prize pool.
Playing
What can I play?
Cash tables, tournaments, and $CLASH & Go: heads-up sit & gos for 100, 250, 500 or 1,000 $CLASH that start the moment a second player joins. Hold’em and Omaha are the main games; About lists every game the room can deal, and Games shows what is running now.
Can I play on my phone?
Yes. The tables open in your phone’s browser, with nothing to install.
Can one table mix tokens?
No. Every game is played for one token, so everyone at a table plays for the same one.
Can I see past hands?
Yes. The Hand history page lists the hands dealt here. At cash tables the players show as seats, not names.
Any token
Can I play for any Solana token?
Yes. Any Solana token can have games here. Sign in, open Request a token and paste its mint address. We read it from the chain and check it is safe to hold: a token whose issuer could freeze, seize or pause it is refused. It goes live for everyone with its first deposit, and then anyone can host a cash table or a tournament in it.
What does the host of a game in any token earn?
The creator’s third of what it takes: a table’s rake or a tournament’s fees, paid in the token itself.
Can any token have tournaments?
Yes. Host one from your account and pick the token under Plays for. Players register with the Register button on its page; the buy-in, the fee and the prizes are all in the token.
What about tokens on other chains?
Only Solana tokens for now.
Hosting a game
Can I host my own game?
Yes. Open a cash table or a tournament from your account. Pick the game and the blinds; buy-ins run from 20 to 100 big blinds, a table deals as soon as two players sit, and an optional password keeps it to the players you give it to. You can host one table and one tournament at a time to start, and ask for more from your account.
What do I earn as a host?
A third of the rake and fees your game takes, in the token it is played for. A table’s share is paid after every hand; a tournament’s when it finishes.
How long does my table stay open?
Until you close it, or until it has had no hands and nobody seated for 24 hours.
Deposits and cashouts
How do I deposit?
Open Get Balance(s) in your account, link the wallet you will send from, and send to the address shown there. It is added to your poker balance once Solana has finalized it, usually within a few minutes. Sent from any other wallet, it waits for an admin to check.
How do I cash out?
In your account, pick the token, an amount and your wallet address. The amount is held at once and an admin sends it on chain by hand. Every cashout is listed with its transaction on the Payouts page.
Are there cashout fees?
No: we pay the Solana network fee. The wallet you cash out to must already hold that token. A cashout to a wallet that has never held it is refused when you ask for it, so nothing leaves your balance.
What is $SOL here?
Your SOL balance, counted so that 1 $SOL = 0.001 SOL (1,000 $SOL = 1 SOL). Games can be played for it.
Rake and $CHIPS
How much rake does the room take?
Cash tables take 3% of each pot, capped at 2 big blinds, or 2% capped at 2 big blinds when only two players are dealt in. Tournaments charge a 5% fee on top of the buy-in, heads-up matches 2.5%, and the whole buy-in goes into the prize pool. The full tables are on Rake and fees.
Where does the rake go?
It is split three ways: a third to $CHIPS holders, a third to the house and a third to whoever created the game (a player who hosts it, or the house on its own games). The house keeps the holders’ third of anything taken while no holder has a signed wallet.
What is $CHIPS?
A Solana token with a fixed supply of 1,000,000,000. It is not played for here. Connect the wallet holding it to your account and sign every 30 days, and you share the holders’ third of all rake and fees, paid into your poker balance every day in the token the game was played for. See every holder.
What is rakeback?
If you hold $CHIPS, 5% to 20% of the cash-game rake you pay comes back to your balance every day, out of the house’s third, by how much $CHIPS you hold.
Is the holder share a return I can count on?
No. Crypto tokens are volatile and can lose all value. The holder share is what we intend to pay; payouts have not started yet, and it is not a promised return.
Trust
How do I know players’ tokens are really held?
Every token players hold here sits in one wallet, checked every few minutes against what players hold, on the Token escrow page. You can look the wallet up yourself on a block explorer. It shows what is in the wallet when you look; it is not an audit.
Where can I check what the room has paid?
The Payouts page lists every cashout with its transaction, and every prize, giveaway and host share credited to a balance here.
